MINNEAPOLIS - The Yellowjacket men's track and field team sent Dylan Uitto (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) to the Snowshoe Open on Friday, hosted by the University of Minnesota inside the Minnesota Fieldhouse.

Competing in the mile, Uitto set a new personal record in a field of 4:26.62 seconds, placing 13th in a gauntlet of runners throughout all three divisions in the NCAA.

The full Yellowjacket squad returns to action next Friday as they compete at the two-day Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) indoor championship. Action inside the Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse is slated for 2:30 p.m. in Superior.
