MADISON – The Yellowjacket men's tennis team wrapped up its Southern Wisconsin trip Sunday, taking on the Rams of Cornell College. Superior clinched the doubles point and held on in singles action to defeat Cornell 4-3 inside the John Powless Tennis Center.

- The Yellowjacket tandems of Igor Guetten Chaves (Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil/Colégio Adventista) and Vitor Sakakibara (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Saber) (6-4) and Sharan Kanugovi (Bangalore, Karnataka/New Baldwin International School) and Mateo Abarca Pino (Riobamba, Ecuador/El Despertar) (6-3) won their doubles bouts at the top two slots.
- Guetten Chaves claimed a 6-2, 6-3 win in singles against Trent Devore.
- Keanu Lin (Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount) dropped a 6-1, 7-6 (9-7) decision at No. 6 singles, while Adam Culp (Metamora, Ill./Metamora Township) fell to his Rams counterpart by straight sets of 6-3, 6-3.
- At Nos. 3-4 singles, Abarca Pino defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-4 while Sakakibara won 7-5, 6-4, respectively.
The Yellowjackets (6-4) will return to action during their spring trip, opening with a match against Emerson College in Florida.
