RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The Yellowjacket women put forth a strong showing at the UWRF Winter Classic Saturday, as 12 personal records and five season bests were set inside the Robert P. Knowles Field House.
 
Meet Notes

• Summer Hesseldahl's (International Falls, Minn./Falls) season-best time of 10.93 seconds gave her 19th overall in the preliminary 60-meter hurdles.
• The duo of Melissa Hoff (Holmen, Wis./Holmen) and Ella Briggs (Ridgeland, Wis./Prairie Farm) finished consecutively in the 200-meter dash, taking times of 29.93 and 30.01, respectively. These times also set season-bests for both individuals.
• Kayela Putnam (Stephenson, Mich./Stephenson) set a new high-water mark with a time of 1:06.84 in the 400-meter dash, while Hoff (1:07.12), Lillianna Jones (Portage, Wis./Portage) (1:08.57) and Abby Congleton (Eagle River, Wis./Northland Pines) (1:12.65) garnered season-bests.
• A new personal record was set for Taylor DeCook (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect), crossing the line at 5:40.94 for a new PR in the mile.
• KelliJoy Manninen (Duluth, Minn./Proctor) leaped to a second-place finish in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.50 meters.
• Hannah Hutton's (Spooner, Wis./Spooner) 2.75 meter-mark in the pole vault serves as a new season best.
• Sidney Bader (Milltown, Wis./Unity) logged a 10.58-meter heave in the shot put, placing 15th in the meet.
• The 4x200-meter relay squad of Cora Schmitz (Luck, Wis./Unity), Hoff, Ella Briggs (Ridgeland, Wis./Prairie Farm) and Jones took third after a collective 1:58.52.
