RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The Yellowjacket women's hockey team was in action for the second straight day against UW-River Falls in the first round of the WIAC tournament. After losing last night the 'Jackets again fell to the Falcons this time by a score of 7-1 ending their season.

The Yellowjackets struck first in the contest, getting a power play goal from Addison Fee (Crookston, Minn./Crookston) four and a half minutes into the contest. Stacy Steiner (Janesville, Wis./Craig) would get credited with the assist on the goal.

The Yellowjackets used two goaltenders in the contest as Jayda Moyer (Albert Lea, Minn./Albert Lea) made the start making 19 saves before being replaced by Maddie Wostrel (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) who saved 21 shots.
The Yellowjackets end their season with 4-22-1 record while going 4-8-0 in WIAC play.
