SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Yellowjacket women's track and field team made history Saturday, competing in the first annual Dan Conway Classic at SCCU Stadium. Despite colder conditions in the Northland, Superior came away with a slew of top 10 finishes.

Meet Notes
- Maddie Reott (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) led the way with a leading mark in the long jump at 5.23 meters. She also ran a second-place finish of 13.04 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
- Aislin Carrick's (Monitor, Alberta/Shaftesbury) took home a 13.33-second race time in the 100-meters while placing second in the 200-meter dash at 27.18 seconds.
- Cora Schmitz (Luck, Wis./Unity) placed fifth in the 100-meter finals, crossing the line at 14.03 seconds.
- In the 100-meter hurdles, Chesney Phillipp (Jacksonville, N.C./Holdingford) placed fourth after her race time of 17.79 seconds.
- Ella Briggs (Ridgeland, Wis./Prairie Farm) crossed the line at 28.81 seconds during the 200-meter dash, placing sixth overall.
- Also taking sixth was Amelia Olson (Sturgeon Lake, Minn./Moose Lake), garnering an 800-meter race time of 2:30.83. In the same race, Lillianna Jones (Portage, Wis./Portage) set a new season best of 2:35.81 for ninth place.
- Simone Stephens (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro) rattled off a 4:48.14 second 1,500-meter dash, which solidified a new personal best.
- Alivia Visger (Superior, Wis./Superior) placed seventh in the discus (34.38 meters) while placing in the top 10 in the hammer throw (28.90 meters).
- Kyra Nelson (Faribault, Minn./Faribault) and Phillipp led the 'Jackets in the high jump with leaps of 1.50 meters.
- Riley Toivonen (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) led Superior with a 25.23-meter chuck in the javelin throw.
- Bel Dimaze (Monticello, Minn./Spectrum) finished fourth in the long jump (4.90 meters), followed by Aylie Dahl (Beaumont, Alberta/John Maland) (4.82 meters), Addison Smith (Blue Earth, Minn./Blue Earth) (4.27 meters) and Naima Burt (Winter, Wis./Winter) (4.21 meters).
- Kayela Putnam's (Stephenson, Mich./Stephenson) vault of 3.05 meters led Superior, while Hannah Hutton (Spooner, Wis./Spooner) (2.75 meters), Briggs (2.60 meters), Keira Hesseldahl (International Falls, Minn./Falls) and McKenna Nash (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander) (2.45 meters) followed in the pole vault.
- Toivonen and Burt finished sixth and seventh in the triple jump with leaps of 8.94 and 8.68 meters.
- The relay squads of Reott, Dahl, Dimaze and Carrick (51.12 seconds; 1st) and Jones, Putnam Olson and Taylor DeCook (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) (4:26.03) led the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays, respectively.

The 'Jackets will stay at home as they host the UMAC Outdoor Championships next week. The two-day event begins on Friday at SCCU Stadium.
