YELLOWJACKET CAREER
2017-18: Competed in all six races for Yellowjackets...had career-best 27:38.7 and 14th place at the U.M.A.C. Championship Oct. 28...named to the U.M.A.C. All-Academic Team.

2016-17: Competed in all six races during his second collegiate go-around...ran his career-best time of 27:44.6 at the U.M.A.C. Championships meet on Oct. 29...named to the U.M.A.C. All-Academic Team.

2015-16: Competed in cross country and track & field during his freshman campaign...named to the U.M.A.C. All-Academic Team.

Before UWS: Ran cross country and track and field at A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer, Michigan...earned All-Indianhead Conference honors in cross country in 2012, 2013, and 2014...named All-Upper Peninsula and All-State 2012, 2013, and 2014...captained the track and field team in 2014...four-time regional champion in both the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs...holds the school record in both events...A.D. Johnston claimed regional team championships in 2011, 2012, and 2014...was a 4.0 student through high school...member of the National Honor Society from 2013 through 2015...math team placed second in the Upper Peninsula in 2014...he placed second in the Upper Peninsula individually that same year...also a member of the Biology team that took first place in the Upper Peninsula in 2013 ... was a math tutor and peer tutor.
