2021-22 Indoor: Competed in six meets ... Opened the season running in the 200-meter dash (33.39, 14th) and 60-meter hurdles (11.93, fifth) at The Opener on Dec. 11 ... Won the 200-meter hurdles at the Twin Ports Open on Jan. 22 in 36.44 ... Won the 200 hurdles at the Maday Classic on Feb. 12 in 36.90 ... Posted career bests in the triple jump (8.67 meters, fifth) and 60 hurdles (11.41, seventh) in the UMAC championship.
2022 Outdoor: Competed in five meets ... Named UMAC Track Athlete of the Week on March 21 ... Opened the season at the Emory Spring Break Classic on March 18-19, running the 400 meters in a career-best 1:12.35 for 35th overall ... Also was 19th in the 400-meter hurdles (1:24.47) and 26th in the 100 hurdles (20.17) ... Clocked a career-best 100 hurdles at the Falcon Invitational on April 9 in 19.37 for 11th place ... Part of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished third in 55.96 at the UMAC championship.  

2020-21 Indoor: Competed in three meets ... Ran a season-best 60-meter hurdles at the UMAC championship on Feb. 27 in 12.21 for seventh place overall.
2021 Outdoor: Competed in five meets ... Set three personal records in the UMAC championship May 7-8 ... Ran her best 400-meter hurdles (1:22.99) for fifth place ... Also posted her top 100 hurdles time (19.89) for seventh ... Was eighth in the triple jump (8.63 meters), another career best. 

2019-20 Indoor: Ran the 60 meters, 60-meter hurdles and 200 meters in three meets as a freshman ... Ran 12.70 in the 60 hurdles in The Opener Dec. 7, 9.51 in the 60 meters in the Twin Ports Invitational Jan. 18 and 32.23 in the 200 at the Beaver Invitational Jan. 25.

Before UWS: Daughter of Jeffrey and Ellen Newman ... Born Jan. 17, 2001 ... Graduate of Pine Island High School in 2019 ... Ran track and played soccer for the Panthers ... Earned letters in track (2018-19) and soccer (2014-15) ... Track team was runner up in the sub-section as a senior ... Minnesota Honor Society (2018-20) and academic letter winner (2018-20) ... Double major in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Spanish at UW-Superior.
