ST. PAUL, Minn. (April 24, 2018) – Superior played their fourth match in five days as they were upended by the Northwestern Eagles

Doubles

The Yellowjackets fought hard in the doubles matches, falling 8-5 in the no. 1 pairing of Alison Tollas (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) and Mariah Linder (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids), while the no. 2 and no. 3 groupings fell 8-3 and 8-2.

Singles

Megan Dulong (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) found a win in her singles match, going 7-5 in her first set and kept the pressure on with a second set, 6-2 win. In the no. 5 position, Kitana Honkola (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert) fought hard, but was unable to find a 'Jacket point, falling 4-6 and 4-6, while Charlotte Zangs (Maplewood, Minn./North St. Paul) forced a tiebreaker after a 6-3 second-set win, but fell 12-10.
