SUPERIOR, Wis. (April 8, 2018) – The Yellowjackets stayed undefeated in UMAC play Sunday, beating the Minnesota Morris Cougars in dominating fashion.
Doubles
The no. 2 duo of Emily Wald (Antigo, Wis./Antigo) and Kitana Honkola (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert) saw the most resisitance, winning their match 8-2. The no. 3 pair of Megan Dulong (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) and Charlotte Zangs (Maplewood, Minn./North St. Paul) won their match in sweeping fashion of 8-0.
Singles
Alison Tollas (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) won her two sets 6-4 and 6-2, seeing the most push back in singles. Mariah Linder (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) took care of business in the third spot, getting the first win 6-0 and then winning 6-3. The final three positions were dynamite for the 'Jackets, all getting 6-0 wins.
Head coach Kolin Dean was proud of his team for their play this weekend saying "We did what we needed to do! We showed that we can beat some great competition."

Superior will go on a UMAC road trip next weekend, playing three matches from April 12-14 away from home.
