SPOONER, Wis. -- Senior Ally Busick (Osceola, Wis./Osceola) paced the UW-Superior women's golf team to a four-place finish in its own Yellowjacket Invitational at Spooner Golf Club on Wednesday.
 
Busick shot 27-over-par 98 on the 5,642-yard, par-71 course for 17th overall. As a team, UWS carded a 137-over 421 on the day. 
 
Senior Sarah Wahlquist (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern) tied for 19th at 101, freshman Kenzie Tuura (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) tied for 22nd at 106 and sophomore Hailee Melgeoge was 24th at 116.
 
Playing her first collegiate round, freshman Brianna Vigil (Richland Center, Wis./Richland Center) was 25th overall with a 146.
 
UW-Stevens Point shot 72-over 356, beating St. Scholastica for the team title by three strokes. Northwestern (86-over 370) finished third. UWSP's Bree Downie won medalist honors by one over teammate Andrea Tietz with an 84.
 
The Yellowjackets close the spring season Thursday at the Martin Luther College Invitational at New Um Country Club. Tee time is 10 a.m.
