SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Five Yellowjackets from the women's golf team were recognized by the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Wednesday, as the league announced its postseason awards.

Olivia Weyenberg (Stacy, Minn./North Branch)
Abby Schintz (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East)
 
All-UMAC Honorable Mention
Makayla Ammerman (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson)
Sophia Otto (Mequon, Wis./Homestead)
Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti)
 
Additionally, Parnell was the Yellowjackets' honoree on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
 
Weyenberg competed in 12 rounds across seven different events on the year. She ranked within the top 10 on three occasions while nabbing a pair of top five finishes, ending the year with an average round of 85.17. Her best round came at the Midwest Region Classic, shooting a seven-over 79.
 
Schintz was the top finisher for the Yellowjackets this fall, competing in seven events and 12 rounds. She averaged an 83.58, grabbing four top 10 finishes and ranking in the top five on three occasions. Her lowest round came at the D3 Classic, shooting an 80 in round two of the event.
 
Ammerman finished a freshman season that landed her third on Superior's leaderboard. In five events she competed in nine rounds, carding an average of 88.11. Her lowest round came at the second round of the D3 Classic, along with the opening round of the UMAC Championship, shooting an 83 on both occasions.
 
Otto collected an average of 89.75 on the year, competing in seven events and 12 rounds. Her lowest round came at the Twin Ports Collegiate, shooting an 83 on the second day of the tournament.
 
Parnell garnered her best round of the fall at the UNW Invite, shooting an 84 to finish tied for seventh place individually. She capped her senior season with an average score of 90.27, a mark that ranks fifth among her Yellowjacket teammates.
 
UW-Superior will return to action in the spring of 2026.
