DULUTH, Minn. - The UW-Superior volleyball team came into their Dig Pink match with St. Scholastica riding a six-game winning streak. On this night the Yellowjackets couldn't find their grove as they were swept by the Saints.  

Match Notes:  

• In the first set, the Yellowjackets and Saints traded points. The Saints were able to take control in the ladder half of the set rattling off five straight points the put the 'Jackets away 25-20.  

• In the second set, the Saints took control early, leading early by as many as seven points and eventually taking the set 25-13.  

• The third set was a similar story to the second as the Saints took control early. UWS was able to able to get the CSS lead to three at 17-14 behind kills from Makenna Hohbein (Holdingford, Minn./Holdingford) but the Saints again took control winning the set 25-17 and completing the sweep of the 'Jackets.  

• Hohbein led the way in kills with 10. Marena Saeger (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater) and Sydney Smith (Milltown, Wis./Unity) had six and four respectively.  

The Yellowjackets are next in action Friday night as they take on Martin Luther. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at LSC Gymnasium in New Ulm.
