Makenna Hohbein (Holdingford, Minn./Holdingford) was named to the All-Region 9 Honorable Mention squad.

There are 14 All-Region team members and six honorable mention selections for each of the 10 regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 200 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 96 different schools.

Hohbein posted a strong sophomore campaign, consistently leading the Yellowjackets offensively. She capped her season with 463 kills, averaging 3.73 per set while garnering 500 points and boasting a team-best .230 attacking percentage. Hohbein also showed it off defensively, ranking second on the team with 381 digs (3.07 per set) while garnering 30 total blocks.

Individually, Hohbein ranks 14th in total kills and 23rd in total points throughout NCAA Division III. Furthermore, the Yellowjackets are seventh in national rankings with 1,569 team kills.

Superior finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 21-12, collecting back-to-back seasons with 20 or more wins. The 'Jackets advanced to the conference championship match for the fourth straight season, falling to Northwestern 3-1.
