SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Saturday morning the Yellowjacket women's track and field team traveled south for the Hamline Invite, taking place at Klas Field. The event featured a slew of regionally recognized talent across NCAA Division II and III, setting the stage for an entertaining day of track and field.

When it was all said and done, the 'Jackets left Saint Paul with five PR's and six top ten finishes to cap their day in the Twin Cities.

Meet Notes
- In the 100-meter dash, Aylie Dahl (Beaumont, Alberta/John Maland) crossed the line with a time of 13.53 seconds. She later raced in the 200-meters, taking 17th with a time of 27.73 seconds.
- The 800-meter race saw Taylor DeCook (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) finish in 2:33.82 seconds, good for a 17th place finish.
- Three Yellowjackets PR'd in the 5,000-meter race Saturday. Halle Barker (Superior, Wis./Superior) grabbed ninth place in 18:57.51 before Simone Stephens (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro) set a new high-water mark at 19:00.11. Also setting a PR was Tea Boerner (Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna), crossing the finish line at 19:17.66 before Lilley Smith (Ironwood, Mich./Ironwood) garnered a new personal best at 20:16.36.
- The Yellowjacket quartet of Bel Dimaze (Monticello, Minn./Spectrum), Summer Hesseldahl (International Falls, Minn./Falls), Lillianna Jones (Portage, Wis./Portage) and Cora Schmitz (Luck, Wis./Unity) ran the 4x100-meter relay, taking fourth place in 53.94 seconds.
- Kory Windish (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake) set a PR in the discus, finishing with a mark of 33.49 meters for tenth place, while Isabel Miller (Medford, Minn./Medford) set a new season best heave at 29.05 meters.
- Dimaze earned sole possession of fourth place in the high jump, clearing the beam at 1.43 meters. Riley Toivonen (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) set a new high-water mark in the event at 1.28 meters.
- Sidney Bader (Milltown, Wis./Unity) grabbed third in the javelin, garnering a mark of 32.91 meters.
- Field events saw Dahl finish eighth in the long jump, leaping to a 4.63-meter finish.
- Windish also competed in shot put, taking sixth at 10.83 meters.
- In pole vault, McKenna Nash (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander) logged a 2.30-meter leap that was good for 15th place.

Next week sees UWS appear at the Saint Mary's Invite. Events will take place at the Outdoor Complex Saturday.
