SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) revealed its 2025 outdoor track and field award winners in an announcement Wednesday, and seven Yellowjacket men received postseason plaudits.
Furthermore, Superior collected the league's team sportsmanship award.
All-UMAC honors are given to the top two finishers in individual events, along with all members of the winning relay squad at the two-day championship meet.
UWS was led by
Earl Foster (Forest Lake, Minn./Spectrum), who claimed a second-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles and a javelin championship with marks of 15.23 seconds and 60.49 meters, respectively. These mark the ninth and tenth outdoor postseason honors in his collegiate career.
Dylan Uitto (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) finished second in the 1,500-meter race, scoring eight points and collecting his third All-UMAC outdoor honor with a race time of 4:02.01. The duo of
Garrett Lynch (Portage, Wis./Portage) and
Rene Sems (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) finished in first and second place in the pole vault, each collecting marks of 4.22 meters. This is the first postseason honor for Sems, while Lynch garners his fifth outdoor pole-vaulting distinction as a Yellowjacket.
Kieran Johnson (South Range, Wis./Northwestern) came away with a second-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, scoring eight points with a time of 10:15.31 while
Zach Reese (Zimmerman, Minn./Spectrum) and
Maverick Hoogland (Catawba, Wis./Phillips) each led the 5,000-meter race with times of 15:54.16 and 16:08.47, respectively.
Johnson also represented UW-Superior on the all-sportsmanship team.
The Yellowjackets scored a collective 212 points across the two-day championship, coming in second place during the 2025 season.
