RIVER FALLS, Wis. – Saturday's opening round of the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite saw the Yellowjacket women's golf team in 10th place. Sunday was a special day, as the team shot the lowest round in program history with a 342 to finish in ninth place, shaving 23 strokes off their opening round.

Claudia Curtis (Hartland, Wis./Lake Mills), who competed as an individual, fired a hole in one on the par-three 11th.
Tournament Notes
- The best round of the day came from Olivia Weyenberg (Stacy, Minn./North Branch), who orchestrated a 40/41 split to finish with an 81.
- Abby Schintz (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) closely followed, shooting a 43 on the front before shaving four strokes on the back to close at 82. Her round placed her in a logjam of ninth place on the individual standings.
- Shooting a 40/48 split was Karin Hill (Duluth, Minn/Denfeld), who ended her Sunday with an 88. Sophia Otto (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) followed with a 45 on the front and a 47 on the back.
- Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) finished Sunday's final round with a 93.
- Curtis ended her day with a composite 91, shaving five strokes off her opening round score.
- Allie Maschke (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) rounded out the Yellowjacket entrants with a 102.
The Yellowjackets are back in action Tuesday, as they compete at the Northwestern Fall Invite.
