DULUTH, Minn. - The Yellowjacket men's tennis hosted Bethel at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center (DISC) on Friday. UWS dropped three doubles matches and six singles matches to give the Royals the 7-0 win.

Yash Chhabra (Jaipur, Rajasthan/Sanskar School) and Sharan Kanugovi (Bangalore, Karnataka/New Baldwin International School) dropped the opening match to Dyan Magistad and Carter Sheard 6-0 at the top doubles position.

Igor Guetten Chaves and Vitor Sakakibara (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Saber) ultimately fell 6-3 against Royals Zach Chaffey and Watson Sheard at the second slot. Keanu Lin (Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount) and Mateo Abarca Pino (Riobamba, Ecuador/El Despertar) were defeated by Micah Gustafson and Zachary Bengston.
- Guetten Chaves took on Sheard in singles play, and despite requiring tiebreakers in the opening and final games, Bethel emerged victorious at No. 1 singles.
- Chhabra also forced a tiebreaker at the third singles slot, but fell to Zach Chaffey.
The 'Jackets will travel to Ripon, Wisconsin to take on Ripon and Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday. The opening serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
