SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) has announced Yellowjacket men's track and field athlete Dylan Uitto (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) has been named the league's track athlete of the week Tuesday.
 
Uitto competed at the Snowshoe Open on Friday, hosted by the University of Minnesota inside the Minnesota Fieldhouse. Competing in the mile, and against some of the region's top runners, he set a new personal record with a race time of 4:26.62.
 
The Yellowjackets are back in action Friday as they open the two-day UMAC Championships. Action is set for 2:30 p.m. inside the Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse.
