ORLANDO, Fla. - The Yellowjacket men's tennis team was back in action on Tuesday as they took on Roger Williams. After back-to-back wins to open their Florida trip, the Yellowjackets couldn't overcome the Hawks falling 4-3.

The Yellowjackets won the doubles point winning two of three matches. The team of Igor Guetten Chaves and Sharan Kanugovi (Bangalore, Karnataka/New Baldwin International School) won the No. 1 doubles 6-3 while Vitor Sakakibara (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Saber) and Yash Chhabra (Jaipur, Rajasthan/Sanskar School) won their match 6-4.

In the No. 1 singles, Guetten Chaves lost in three sets by the scores of 2-6, 6-3, 0-1 (8-10). In the No. 2 singles Kanugovi fell in three sets 3-6, 7-5, 0-1 (8-10).

Chhabra picked up a victory in his match beating his Hawks counterpart 7-6, 6-4. Mateo Abarca Pino (Riobamba, Ecuador/El Despertar) also scored a victory in his singles match 6-3, 6-1.

Sakakibara lost his singles match in three sets 6-7, 6-2, 0-1 (5-10). Adam Culp (Metamora, Ill./Metamora Township) rounded out the singles competition with a loss as he fell in both sets 2-6.
The Yellowjackets are back in action on Thursday as they take on Dickinson. Opening serve from Orlando is set for 10:30 a.m. CT at the Sanlando Tennis Courts.
