ORLANDO, Fla. - After opening their Florida trip with a win yesterday, the UW-Superior men's tennis team took on both Loras College. The Yellowjackets were able to take down Loras 5-2 

Match Notes:  

• All three Yellowjackets duos fell in their doubles matches losing the point to the Duhawks.  

• Igor Guetten Chaves won his singles match by final scores 6-1 and 6-4. Sharan Kanugovi (Bangalore, Karnataka/New Baldwin International School) won his No. 2 singles match in three sets with scores of 6-4, 4-6 and 1-0 (10-3).  

• Yash Chhabra (Jaipur, Rajasthan/Sanskar School) took care of his Duhawk counterpart 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-7) while Mateo Abarca Pino (Riobamba, Ecuador/El Despertar) won his match 6-2, 6-0.  

• Vitor Sakikibara earned the fifth singles win for the Yellowjackets, winning 6-2 in both sets. Adam Culp (Metamora, Ill./Metamora Township) rounded out the Yellowjacket performers falling by scores of 6-1, 1-6, 0-1 (4-10).  

The Yellowjackets are next in action tomorrow as they face Roger Williams. Action starts at 10:30 a.m. CT at Sylvan Lake Park in Orlando.
