WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Yellowjacket baseball team claimed another victory in the Sunshine State Thursday, defeating the Duhawks of Loras College by a score of 7-3 at the RussMatt Invitational.

Game Notes
- In the top of the third inning, Carter Thielke (Fergus Falls, Minn./Fergus Falls) got hit by a pitch and later advanced into scoring position. Mason McKellar (Nashotah, Wis./Arrowhead) would drive him in with a double to right field.
- The Yellowjacket duo of Noah Dagostino (Andover, Minn./Andover) and Chase Oxborough (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park) would single, giving Superior a 2-0 lead.
- With the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth, Oxborough walked to plate Will Czech (Anoka, Minn./Anoka), who walked to begin the inning.
- McKellar logged a sacrifice fly to plate Brian O'Dwyer (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove), who was plunked to begin the sixth inning, giving UWS a four-run advantage.
- Three more runs came in the following frame for the 'Jackets, increasing their lead to 7-0.
- In the bottom of the eighth inning, the Duhawks called on a pinch hitter, and on the first pitch Isiah Rose saw, he sent a line-drive homer to left field to make the game 7-3.
- After Ryker Ebert (Cameron, Wis./Cameron) came in relief for Yellowjacket starter Josh Pritchard (Surrey, British Columbia/Clayton Heights Secondary), Kevin Rahe (Princeton, Minn./Princeton) shut the door and drew a 1-2-3 inning, securing the fourth win in a row.
- Pritchard threw 6.1 innings of shutout baseball, allowing eight hits in 27 batters faced.
- Oxborough and Sybrant led with two hits on the day.
