WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Yellowjacket baseball team's trip to Florida is nearing the end, and one of their last games came against the Panthers of Greenville University Friday. Superior utilized a big fourth inning, scoring six runs on their way to a 7-1 victory.

Game Notes
- Once again Superior scored first in the bottom of the second, as Chase Oxborough (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park) singled to left field. Owen Farrington (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake Area), in his first collegiate at-bat, crushed a double down the left field line to plate Oxborough for the early lead.
- Carter Thielke (Fergus Falls, Minn./Fergus Falls) began the big inning for UWS, singling to left before Oxborough did the same. Farrington drew a walk while Wylee Lottman (Kerkhoven, Minn./Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg) was plunked for the first run of the inning.
- After Greenville opted for a new pitcher, Wylee Arro (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown) greeted him with an RBI single to right field.
- The big blow came from Noah Dagostino (Andover, Minn./Andover), who doubled to shallow left field to clear the bases. Trey Sybrant (Saint Michael, Minn./Saint Michael-Albertville) would score Dagostino with an RBI single up the middle to lead 7-0.
- Kaden Corlett (Gordon, Wis./Solon Springs) got the start Friday, pitching four innings and allowing just one hit while striking out six. He gave way to Gio Basile (Eau Claire, Wis./Eau Claire North), pitching four innings with five hits and a pair of strikeouts.
- Adam Jensen (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd) pitched the last inning for the Yellowjackets, allowing two hits on one run.
- Oxborough led offensively, going 3-4 with two runs scored.
