HASTINGS, Minn. - The Yellowjacket women's golf team began their spring schedule at the Gustie Spring Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus. The Yellowjackets as a collective shot 348 on the day placing themselves in ninth after day one. 
Match Notes:

• Abby Schintz (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) finished day on in eighth place individually shooting an 80 on the day with a 39/41 split. 
• Brynn Johnson (South Range, Wis./Superior) and Olivia Weyenberg (Stacy, Minn./North Branch) both carded an 88 with Johnson achieving a 46/42 split while Weyenberg had a 45/43 split. 
• Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) and Allie Maschke (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) rounded out the Yellowjacket team competitors shooting 92 and 96 respectively.
• Lily Klocker rounded out the Superior competitors firing a 102 in her collegiate debut.

The Yellowjackets are in action again tomorrow for day two of the Gustie Spring Classic teeing off at 8 a.m.
