MANKATO, Minn. – Following another round of schedule changes impacting the Upper Midwest, the Yellowjacket baseball team saw their home series with Bethany Lutheran shift to Mankato, beginning with a doubleheader on Monday. In game one the 'Jackets were blanked by the Vikings, falling 9-0. In game two, the Yellowjackets were on the other side of things, scoring 10 runs to defeat BLC in seven innings.

Game One Notes
- The Yellowjackets were led by Wylee Lottman (Kerkhoven, Minn./Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg), going 3-4 with a double in the contest from the five hole. Niles Monroe (Belleville, Wis./Belleville) followed with a pair of hits in five at-bats.
- Zach Romans (Saint Michael, Minn./Saint Michael) got the start in the opener, pitching four innings and allowing four runs for the loss. His record now stands at 1-3.
- Brayden Haag (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) made his Yellowjacket debut Monday, pitching 2.2 innings allowing just one run on four hits. Later, Miles Kay (Albertville, Minn./Saint Michael-Albertville) and Reese Fleig (Washburn, Wis./Washburn) would toe the rubber for the final 1.1 innings.

Game Two Notes
- Following the game break, the Yellowjackets came out firing on all cylinders, scoring four runs in the first inning and three more in the second.
- Lottman clubbed an RBI single to plate Dagostino, who singled up the middle. Later, Carter Thielke (Fergus Falls, Minn./Fergus Falls) singled to score Sybrant, and an RBI single off the bat of Will Czech (Anoka, Minn./Anoka) drove in the fourth run in the opening frame.
- Dagostino clubbed a double into the left center gap that plated Paddy Kelly (Andover, Minn./Andover), and following a pitching change, the Yellowjackets scored two more after Tanner Voight (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater) clubbed his sixth home run of the campaign, sending a deep blast to left field to give Superior a 7-0 advantage.
- In the top of the seventh inning, Czech hit another RBI single and Chase Oxborough (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park) would follow before Dagostino reached on a Viking error that plated the 10th Yellowjacket run of the day.
- Both Thielke and Czech finished the day 3-4. Thielke stole three bases as well.
- Josh Pritchard (Surrey, British Columbia/Clayton Heights Secondary) was masterful on the day, throwing a seven-inning shutout allowing just five hits. His record levels at 2-2.
