MANKATO, Minn. – The third and final game of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) series between the Yellowjacket baseball team and Bethany Lutheran took place Tuesday after a doubleheader of polar opposites occurred Monday. In the rubber match, the Yellowjackets took a 3-1 lead, but the Vikings scored two in the seventh and one in the eighth to win 4-3.

Game Notes
- Superior got on the board early, scoring two runs in the first inning. After getting hit by a pitch, Paddy Kelly (Andover, Minn./Andover) came around to score after a wild pitch, and Noah Dagostino (Andover, Minn./Andover) was brought in to lead 2-0.
- An RBI single brought in the first Viking run in the bottom of the second inning.
- Tanner Voight (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater) brought in the third run after a high chopper towards the third baseman, plating Dagostino who singled to open the top of the fifth.
- In the bottom of the seventh inning, BLC leveled the scoring off a pair of hits and took the lead after a single down the left field line.
- Taking the loss on the day was Kevin Rahe (Princeton, Minn./Princeton), who threw 1.1 innings and allowed the eventual winning run to cross the plate.
- Kaden Corlett (Gordon, Wis./Solon Springs) limited the Vikings to just one run and one hit in five innings of work. He added seven strikeouts to his day, as well.

The Yellowjackets return to action Friday where they take on Martin Luther. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. in New Ulm, Minn.
