Before UWS: Competed at Duluth East High School...In 2008 was named Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Runner in cross country for the Greyhounds...Also the track and field Rookie of the Year that year...In 2011 she was named the Most Improved runner on the cross country team...Team captain for the Greyhound track and field team in 2011-12...Voted Most Dedicated Runner on the team...Part of the school record 4x200-meter relay team at Duluth East in 2012.
