Jenna Anderson (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) was selected to the organization's third team.

Anderson becomes the first UW-Superior volleyball player to receive Academic All-America plaudits, while being the 11th overall selection within Yellowjacket Athletics. She joins notable members like three-time honoree Niya Wilson (women's soccer; 2021-2023), Eva Reinertsen (women's basketball; 2020) and Sally Linzmeier (women's basketball; 2015).

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic accomplishments, separately recognizing men's and women's volleyball student-athletes in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.

To be eligible for nomination consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be a starter or key contributor on their respective team.

Anderson, who majors in both Accounting and Finance with a 3.89 GPA, averaged 6.65 digs per set while compiling 805 on the season sitting atop the national rankings in total scoops in 2024. Appearing in all 32 matches for Superior, she eclipsed the 2,000-dig mark while receiving both conference and regional recognition throughout the campaign.

The four Academic All-America teams, totaling 80 student-athletes, have a 3.88 cumulative grade point average with 23 members posting a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The Yellowjacket volleyball team advanced to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship match for the third-straight season. Superior finished 2024 with an overall record of 24-8.
