WACONIA/NEW ULM, Minn. – The Yellowjacket women's tennis team another superlative season.
Â
A year ago, the Yellowjackets set numerous program records, including posting the most wins in a season (16) and putting up a banner as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) champion for the first time in program history.
Â
And as good as last year was, the 2024-25 season is on pace to be even better.
Â
Entering play Saturday, the Yellowjackets had posted a 12-5 mark in non-conference play, with their first UMAC matches of the year on the calendar. And as they have done for most of the year, the Yellowjackets dominated the competition.
Â
In the first match of the day the Yellowjackets earned the doubles point and went on to a 6-1 win at Crown. Later in the day the Yellowjackets rolled once again, defeating Martin Luther by the same 6-1 score.
Â
With the wins, the Yellowjackets improve to 14-5 overall and 2-0 in the UMAC.
Â
Junior

Andreina Tejada (Quito, Ecuador/Isaac Newton) also had a good day, rolling to a pair of wins at No. 1 singles.
