SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tuesday the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) released its weekly honors, and Kyle Peterson (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd) from the Yellowjacket track and field team was cited as the men's indoor track athlete of the week.
 
Peterson ran a UMAC-leading 60-meter hurdles time of 8.36 seconds at the Warren Bowlus Invite this weekend. Not only does this serve as a new UW-Superior school record, but he also ranks 46th overall in NCAA Division III.
 
The Yellowjackets are next in action Saturday, seeing action at the UWRF Winter Classic. Events are set to begin at 11 a.m. inside the Robert P. Knowles Field House in River Falls.
