SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Yash Chhabra (Jaipur, Rajasthan/Sanskar School) of the Yellowjacket men's tennis team was named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) North Division Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
Chhabra took home a pair of victories this past Saturday as the Yellowjackets took on Wartburg. In doubles play, he joined forces with Vitor Sakakibara (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Saber) at No. 1 doubles to defeat the Knights 7-6 (7-3). At No. 2 singles, he defeated Robert Matera in straight sets (6-1, 6-1). With the win, Chhabra has extended his singles win streak to five.
 
The Yellowjackets return to the court Saturday, April 11 where they open UMAC play with Martin Luther before taking on UW-La Crosse. Action is set for 2 p.m. at Cloquet High School.
