SUPERIOR, Wis. - Tuesday morning the College Sports Communicators (CSC) revealed its academic all-district plaudits for men's tennis, and two Yellowjackets received postseason honors.
CSC Academic All-District
Sharan Kanugovi (Bangalore, Karnataka/New Baldwin International School) – 3.69
Vitor Sakakibara (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Saber) – 3.78
The CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Student-athletes must carry a minimum grade point average of 3.5, compete in 90% of contests (or start in at least 66% of contests), and be at least a sophomore athletically and academically.
The Yellowjacket men won a share of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Regular Season Championship in the North Division. They finished their season 13-11 overall.
