SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Yellowjackets saw MyKenzie Leccia (Somerset, Wis./Somerset) from the Yellowjacket softball team claim weekly honors from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), the league announced Tuesday.
 
Leccia spearheaded the offense this weekend, going 8-11 with one run scored, five RBIs and a homer in Friday's game during their last regular season series with Minnesota Morris. She enters the postseason tournament ranking sixth in batting average (.406), eighth in RBIs (33) and ninth in slugging (.625).
 
The Yellowjackets enter the UMAC Postseason Tournament Thursday, taking on Bethany Lutheran at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Field.
