MANKATO, Minn. – Seniors
Derrick Moe (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet Senior) and
Tyler Finger (Clintonville, Wis./Clintonville) achieved personal records for the UW-Superior men's track and field team at the Mark Miller Invitational at Minnesota State's Myers Field House on Friday.

Moe lowered his PR in the 3,000-meter run to 8:39.53, finishing third in a field of 28 runners.Â

Finger dropped his PR in the mile run to 4:25.10 to place fifth in another 28-man race.

Freshman
Gage Stankiewicz (Esko, Minn./Esko) was third in the shot put, throwing 15.02 meters for a in a 30-man field.

UWS was seventh in the team standings out of nine with 16 total points.

Superior now gets set to host the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference indoor track and field championship next Friday and Saturday at Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse.
