HAM LAKE, Minn. – The Majestic Oaks Golf Club played host to day one of the Augsburg Fall Invite Saturday where the Yellowjacket men's golf team began the 2025-26 season. Superior entered two teams to the field, and after day one's action, it found themselves in a share of third and sole possession of ninth place.
Tournament Notes
- Andrew Rude (Superior, Wis./Superior) led the charge on the course, rifling four birdies and finishing even-par at 72. He sits tied for third place on the individual leaderboard.
- Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) wrapped up his day with a 37/40 split for a five-over 77.
- Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) carded a 79, while Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) and August Lang (Somerset, Wis./Somerset) followed with rounds of 80 and 81, respectively.
- Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) led the B team shooting a three-over 75, featuring a front nine score of 35.
- Sam Brennan (Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) ended his first round with a score of 80, beginning with a pair of birdies and adding two more on the back nine.
- Shooting a 41/43 split was Dillon Scheufeli (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern), finishing with a collective 84.
- JD Glampe (Green Bay, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) and Cole Moore (Little Rock, Ark./Sabetha) rounded out the second Yellowjacket team, logging rounds of 92 and 96, respectively.
The Yellowjackets wrap up the tournament Sunday with a shotgun start of 8 a.m.
