HAM LAKE, Minn. – The Yellowjacket men's golf team wrapped up day two of the Augsburg Fall Invite Sunday. After round one the 'Jackets found themselves in a tie of third place and sole possession of ninth place, and Sunday's action saw Superior's A team drop to a tie of fourth while the B team held steady at ninth overall.
Tournament Notes
- UWS was led once again by Andrew Rude (Superior, Wis./Superior), who ended his day with a one-over 73. After rattling off 13 pars and two birdies, he was one of three participants who finished in second place.
- Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) finished two-over on the day, carding two birdies on his front nine for a total score of 74.
- The third Yellowjacket finisher was August Lang (Somerset, Wis./Somerset), logging a six-over 78. Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) followed with a 38/42 split for a final score of 80.
- Wrapping up with a 40/43 split was Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond), ending his weekend with an 83.
- On Superior's secondary team, Dillon Scheufeli (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) paced the way with a 35/40 split for a three-over 75.
- JD Glampe (Green Bay, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) followed with a second-round score of 77, while both Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) and Cole Moore (Little Rock, Ark./Sabetha) ended their Sunday's with identical 41/42's for a total 83.
- Sam Brennan (Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) rounded out the team with a 14-over 86.
The Yellowjackets return to the course Tuesday as they participate in the Northwestern Fall Invite.
