ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Day one of the Saint John's Fall Invite took place Saturday for the Yellowjacket men's golf team. With two entrants in the tournament, the 'Jackets finished 11th (302) and 19th (335) after the first round of play.
 
Tournament Notes

• Leading the 'Jackets was Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery), ranking ninth individually with an even-par round of 72 featuring three birdies. Andrew Rude (Superior, Wis./Superior) followed with a three-over 75 with two birdies of his own.
• Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) followed with a 41/36 split for a 77 on his scorecard. He eagled the par-five 15th along with logging a birdie on the par-four 11th.
• Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) and Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) shot identical rounds of 40/38 for six-over 78's.
• On the B team, Dillon Scheufeli (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) took home an 81 on the first round, while Jamin Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) finished one stroke behind with an 82.
• JD Glampe (Green Bay, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) (85), Caden Knutson (Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins) (87) and August Lang (Somerset, Wis./Somerset) (88) all rounded out the second team for Superior. Knutson birdied the par-four second.

 
Day two of the SJU Fall Invite is set to begin Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club in Sartell, Minn.
