LAKE GENEVA, Wis. - The Grand Intercollegiate, hosted by UW-Stout kicked off on Sunday for the Yellowjacket men's golf team. After day one the 'Jackets sit in ninth place (298).

Tournament Notes:

• Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) led the 'Jackets shooting one-over 72 highlighted by five birdies and a 39/34 split, finishing tied for 11th individually. 
• Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) followed with a 73 on a 39/34 split tallying three birdies. 
• Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) shot a five-over 76 on the round with a 40/36 split, shaving off 4 strokes on the back nine.
• Dillon Scheufeli (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) scored a 77 tallying five birdies of his own. 
• Rounding out the 'Jackets, Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) shot an 84 finishing with an even 42/42 split. 

The Yellowjackets are set to return for day two of The Grand Intercollegiate on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Highlands Course at Grand Geneva Resort.
