LAKE GENEVA, Wis. - The Yellowjacket men's golf finished up The Grand Intercollegiate Monday at Highlands Course at Grand Geneva Resort. After finishing ninth after round one, the 'Jackets entered round two and finished eighth overall.
Tournament Notes
- Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) led the 'Jackets once again on day two finishing three-under 68 and tallying six birdies. Unger also finishes with a 36/32 split earning a tie for third place individually.
- Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) followed with a two over 73 including five birdies, four of which came on the back nine.
- Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) shot a four-over 75 finishing with a 39/36 split highlighted by a birdie on the par-four 15th.
- Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) closely followed shooting a five-over 76 with an even 38/38 split.
- Dillon Scheufeli (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) rounded things out shooting an 86 on the day.
The Yellowjackets are set to begin the 2025 UMAC Men's Golf Championship on Thursday. The event is scheduled to take place at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
