SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Yellowjacket men's tennis team improved their overall record to 11-10, picking up their second Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) victory as they rolled to a 6-1 win over the Polars of Crown College Friday.

- Yash Chhabra (Jaipur, Rajasthan/Sanskar School) and Sharan Kanugovi (Bangalore, Karnataka/New Baldwin International School), alongside Mateo Abarca Pino (Riobamba, Ecuador/El Despertar) and Keanu Lin (Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount) defeated the Polars 6-2 at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles, respectively, while Blake Haugen (Fairmont, Minn./Fairmont) and Marcos Labella Parrilla (Malaga, Spain/IES Emilio Prados) blanked Austin Droeger and Tyler Kretsinger at the third position 6-0.
- Chhabra won 6-2, 6-1 at the top singles position, while Abarca Pino (7-5, 6-2) and Vitor Sakakibara (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Saber) (6-0, 6-2) defeated their Polar counterparts at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.
- Adam Culp (Metamora, Ill./Metamora Township) claimed a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the fourth spot, while Keanu Lin (Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount) rounded out the Yellowjacket victories with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Droeger.
- Haugen nearly dropped the tiebreaker at the sixth singles slot, winning 6-2 before falling 6-2 and ultimately 1-0 (10-8).
The Yellowjackets will take on Bethany Lutheran Saturday with major playoff implications. The opening serve is set for 1 p.m. at the BLC Tennis Courts.
