NORMAL, Ill. - The Yellowjacket men's golf team began the spring portion of their schedule Friday afternoon at the Illinois Wesleyan Invite. The five 'Jackets combined for a score of 321 finishing tied for 38th after day one.  

Tournament Notes: 

• Andrew Slatten (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) finished the day nine over par with a 41/39 split for the round.  

• Blu Anderson (Amery, Wis./Amery) and JD Glampe (Green Bay, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) also finished nine over par for their rounds. Anderson shot an overall score of 40 on both sides while Glampe split his round 38/42.  

• Trevor Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior) shot 10 over for his round finishing with a split of 41/40. 

• Matthew Unger (New Richmond, Wis./New Richmond) rounded out the Superior competitors carding a round of 82.  

The Yellowjackets are in action for round two of the IWU Invite teeing off at 9 a.m. at the Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill.
