Chris Campbell of Lakeville, Minn., is one of the all-time great Yellowjacket hockey players, entering the Hall of Fame as the second-highest scorer in school history with 186 points.

Campbell scored 91 goals and tallied 95 assists in 98 games. He is one of only two Yellowjackets to score more than 90 career goals. Campbell could put the puck in the net in any situation, as indicated by the 10 short-handed goals he scored – the most by any Yellowjacket. In 1992, he was the top scorer in the NCAA tournament with eight goals and four assists. For his achievements, he was named First Team All-American for the 1992-93 season.

His former coach, Steve Nelson, described Campbell as "a pure goal scorer" and ranked him among the best players to ever compete in NCAA Division III hockey. "Chris played when the team was trying to establish itself," Nelson said. "Chris made people sit up and take notice."
