University of Wisconsin-Superior Athletic Hall of Fame
Sarah Moravchik didn’t start her collegiate career at UW-Superior, but fortunately for all of us, she finished here. After enrolling at the University of Jamestown, Sarah transferred to UW-Superior and immediately became a top performer in two sports, earning All-WIAC recognition in volleyball and track and field. It was on the track, however, where she left an indelible mark.
The high point of her career came during the 2001-02 indoor track and field season, where she won the WIAC Championship in the long jump and qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, where she placed second in the long jump and earned All-American status, setting a school record in the event that still stands to this day.
