Dustin Fahl was the model of consistency for the Yellowjackets during his four-year hockey career. Although he never brought home any major awards, Fahl was always among the top scorers for the Yellowjackets and helped his teams reach four Final Fours. Fahl is one of 10 players in school history to play in four consecutive NCAA Final Four tournaments. 

A transfer from Northern Michigan University, Fahl scored a hat trick in the NCHA finals, including the game-winning goal in overtime against Bemidji State as a freshman.

  • Assistant captain in 1995-96
  • One of just 10 players in school history to play in four NCAA Final Fours
  • Led the team in goals and points in 1996-97
  • Tied for eighth in all-time games played with 124
  • Ranked fifth all-time in power play goals with 21
  • Tied for fifth most game winning goals in a single season with five in 1995-96
  • In the second game NCHA Finals against Bemidji State, he scored a hat trick, including the game winning goal in overtime to put UWS into the NCAA tournament as a freshman in 1993-94
