University of Wisconsin-Superior Athletics

A former Yellowjacket student-athlete himself, Dr. Orvin Clark was a member of the UW-Superior boxing team during his collegiate years. Later, Dr. Clark was a longtime UW-Superior faculty member who was a strong advocate of Yellowjacket Athletics while serving on the UW-Superior Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Clark was also a member of the Hall of Fame selection committee and was an instrumental contributor in the building of the Hall of Fame wall in Mertz Mortorelli Gym. Dr. Clark passed away in May 2016. He a posthumous recipient of the Carl Vergamini Contributions to Yellowjacket Athletics Award in 2017.
